Dad's Retirment party

Its been a while since i made some new posts as there was no special events going on in my life for past one week.But yesterday was a exceptional one as it was one of the important and a D day for my dad and rest of my family as it was my dad's retirement day.

My dad was a government employee working in the Electricity board of Tamil Nadu and he got retired as a Superintending Engineer with an 37 year Experience in the field.As my dad was known for his hard work and sincerity,he had a quite a number of good friends and some followers too.Most of them came to my house to drop him and bid a warm goodbye to him.Some of my relatives even wanted to come for the function but as a simple man ,my dad didn't want any such things as it would cost my relatives a lot to come and attend the function.Any way there were a lot of my family friends present who live nearby us.It was not a such grand party and all but it was much fun with 2 little kids getting the center of attention and there mischievous acts clouding away the sad with happiness.

It was both a sad and happy moment in my house.Even though my dad is a little bid worried ,there is nothing to be worried about as he had already educated me and my brother to a very good standard and we have even started earning so don't worry Dad and this particular post is a tribute to my lovely and caring Dad.

Hellcraft is not a place and don't get me wrong by the tittle but i still hang out there. Confused !!!!! Its a free web server for hosting Warcraft III & Frozane throne which i found out via googling.I was actually searching for such a server to continue my hostel gaming life with my friend dracky on net.we missed that fun we had in hostel in these holidays,so was searching for a free server so desperately and i came across this hellcraft.

The site was superb and it mentioned all the necessary requirements and i was able to join the server in ease.More than the server the people there were so superb and enthusiastic.They told us how do they play out there as we were just rookies in Battle.Net which is the online game of the Warcraft III.I played a lot of games with them and two of them was from chennai and one was even the admin of the site.He even taught me his tactics and some of the playing skills which i had never known.

Port Forwading for UTorrent Client

I have been downloading some films via torrent and was using utorrent as the torrent client for some time now.Although some torrents got downloaded faster most of them did not start downloading even though they had a large number of seeds and peers.I could not find out what the problem was ,so i tried different torrents but there was no difference.One of my friends told me to check out the speed guide in utorrent client and i tried it.The speed was good in my connection but the port was not open and my torrents where not forwarded in simple way it was not downloading since the port was blocked by my router.I looked at the help given and tried forwarding the torrents in that way,but as my connection P2POE and port forwarding in my router needed the address to be static ,i was not able to do it.I tried forwarding it in dynamic ip itself and my router got struck with it.The next time i booted my system,the router wasn't able to assign a ip address for my system so i had to reset my router to get it back to normal.If any one know how to solve this problem ,please let me know... Thanks in advance.

Bomb Blast in Banglore !! Condolence's for the suffered

There has been a series of bomb blasts in banglore today starting around 1.30 pm. The first explosion that occurred at a bus stop near the Madivala check-post on the busy Hosur Road claimed the life of Sudha Ravi who was waiting for a bus with her husband. Two more explosives went off in the adjoining Audugodi area, in which three persons were injured.

Low intensity explosions were also reported from three places on Mysore Road and two spots in the heart of the city, near the Mallya Hospital and near Rashtriya Military School on Langford Road.

In Audugodi, explosives were planted behind a telephone junction box near a commercial complex under construction, and another near a storm water drain. On Mysore Road, explosives were placed under a power supply transformer near a mall, a storm water drain and near the Regional Transport Office.

Two people are dead and more than 25 people where injured according to the latest news in television.My heartily condolence's for those who suffered in the bomb blast and the ones who did this should not go unpunished and they will surely suffer for their doings before leaving this world itself.Those bastards are not even worthy to compare with any of the creatures in the world.

Congress has striked again for the third time in the history of Indian politics by wining in the thrust vote in the parliament .The UPA government led by the Manmohan Singh has won the thrust vote with 253 votes on favor against 232 votes in the house of 487 with two absentees.

Due to the political instability,the prices of all common commodities were at their maximum peak for the past one week and the stocks were falling too,now as the political condition is almost stabilized,what are the UPA government's plan to bring back the economic stability of India remains a question and will the plans help out India is another question that can be answered only by the upcoming future.Hoping that everything will go fine and India will be back on its track !!!!!!!!

I was on my trip to chennai yesterday with my parents in our own vehicle and my dad wanted to visit a temple on the way so we had to take a different route for that.The Route for the temple was a single lane one which went through some of the old villages and some industrial estates.There was a particular village by name Kothanur and i was fascinated by it.Whats was so peculiar and special about that village was that all the street names in that village was named after a flower which is not a usual one around here nor in any part of the world.I even found some streets with a rare flower name which are almost forgot in the modern world.It was so nice to see such street names instead of the regular 1st cross ,2nd cross ones.

Yesterday it was raining in my surroundings ,it was not just a drizzle but a little bit heavy downpour.I was enjoying the rain staying outside my house when i heard a little "Meow" around the corner so i turned back to check it out and it turned to be little Kitten which hangs around our neighborhood.It seemed that the kitten has stopped by my house for a shelter from the downpour and was even accompanied by his mom cat.It was a little orangish in color and i always liked kittens and pets but my mom who hated pets kept on pushing them away from my house so i had to fight with my mom to let them stay till the rain gets over and i succeeded in it.I felt very happy after that incident and now hoping that i will even succeed in having a pet too in my near future.

I don't know what struck me or what the name Bobgally means but thats me in my new world in which i entered some 2 days ago.As a great fan of warcraft ,i was longing to try out the online role playing world of warcraft and my await came to a conclude the last weekend when i installed the world of warcraft and finished downloading all the patches required.

I created a free 10 day account to check out the game but the patches itself took 5 of the days in the trial pack to complete all the downloads so i created a new account in my other mail id ;) .I started playing by taking my favourite Night elf druid character and i managed to top upto level 10 when my first trial pack got over in which i already had lost 5 days so today i started the new account and took Orc Hunter character and have topped to level 7 on day one and hoping to top atleast up to level 20 within the 10 days .

House Hunting Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At last i got a house for rent in chennai pallavakam but the journey need to get this house was a tiresome one.As a novice in the field of house hunting ,i didn't know the fact that the houses can't be rented without help of a house broker and it took me a whole week to know this fact.As the house brokers get commission or the brokerage from both the owner and rentals of the house ,they have made an agreements with house owner and had removed all the rental signs in and around the city,so the only way to find out the rental house is through a broker.Thats not it all ,the brokers get a fee of the one month rent of the house from both the parties which is about 10k mostly for a 2 bedroom flat.

I was accompanied by my colleague and his father from thiruvanamallai, we went to his fathers office which is located in chennai and his father's colleagues helped us a lot in finding the house we needed.They also arranged a broker known to them for our convenience and after about a half day search with the broker we came up to a separate house in pallavakam which is a five minutes travel from our work place.I like the calm atmosphere and lush green environment there so we booked it with a token advance of 10k .The monthly rent is 10k and the advance is 50k.Going to start my new IT life there from next month and lets see how it goes !!!!!!!!

Camera going wierd !!!!!!!!!!!

I have an Canon Power shot A60 digital camera and it was working fine till last week but it started acting weird a day ago when i was about to take a photo of brand new shirt.The screen was blurred with a orangish shade all over it and the photos to came in weird colors and totally blurred.I thought that the battery pack was not good and so tried changing it but that did not help it either.Tried to change some settings which too did not work out and at last i lost hope and started searching for a Canon Customer center and found out that it was only available in Chennai,so planning to take my camera to chennai next weekend hoping that the problem will be a small one and won't cost me a fortune.Here are some picture which i took in my camera,even though the pictures are not clear they look fantastic like a modern art.

Scam in Torrents - The Dom X decoder !!!

I am a fan of Angelina Jolie so i was eager to see her latest film "Wanted" ,so i downloaded a torrent from torrent reactor site.It said it was a good high quality copy so i started downloading it and completed downloading it at the day's end.When i opened it with media player ,i got a screen shot as below telling that the movie was encoded in a DOM - X decoder and can be viewed only in a DOM X player.

I found out that the player mention was not a free ware in the site mentioned in the screen shot and so i goggled for it.The results i got took be aback because the whole film was a scam and the player was a malware and all the forms advised me not to download it.In one such a form i found a person suggesting a decoder so i tried it but even after decoding what i got was just a advertisement for the whole length of the video.

So friends be careful and look for the comments before downloading any such torrents.If you come across any one do flag it bad or leave a comment so that the other people may know about it too.

She is one of my friends sister and she is only 12 years old studying 8 th standard and this was her mail with an excuse for not mailing me frequently.It was so cute to read and was her excuse so i posted it here....

All are fine how about there.Sorry i was busy going to school at 8am and having some sports practice and going directly to the maths tution at 4.45 pm and coming home and leaving my school bag and taking my hindi class bag and going for the class and coming back to home at 7pm.I eat something and watch kadhalika neramili program and i start studying at 7.30pm.At what time i would sleep(11.30 to 1.30) itself depends about the kind of homework and my study but i know one thing i should get up at morning 6.30 to start getting ready to school it will be around 8am me and my friends will start moving out with our own bicycle.Again my journey begins.

My Brother on Peach Tree Road Race

The Guy in the photo (the one with specks) is my brother and the photo was taken in the Atlanta Journal - Constitution (AJC) Peach Tree Road Race which was held on this July 4 th,2008.He took part in the race with the other 55,000 people of the race.This is second race followed by his marathon and he finished the 10 km race in 83 minutes.Congratz Bro !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now lets get down to this Peach Tree Road Race and learn a little more about it,as its one of the longest road race.On July 4, 1970 in Atlanta, a group of just over 100 runners made history, just by running down the street. What began that day as a simple fun run has grown over the past forty years into one of the city’s signature events and favorite Fourth of July traditions

The Peachtree Road Race is a 6.2 mile (10,000 meter) road race. The race starts on Peachtree Road at Lenox Square Mall (just south of Lenox Road). The race continues down Peachtree Road. Mile 4 (near Piedmont Hospital) is mostly uphill and has received the nickname "Heart Break Hill". After mile 5, the race turns east onto 10th Street with the finish line next to Piedmont Park.As of 2008, the race course has changed. The Incredible Hulk

Incredible Hulk(2008) is up to its name Incredible in graphics and cinematography but not in the story line where it has left the spectators with a lot of questions not answered.As a comic fan ,i was greatly excited to see the Incredible Hulk when it hit the silver screen but the movie was not up to my expectation and failed to impress me.

As the continuation of the part 1 ,Bruce who is the Hulk lives in shadows trying to avoid the warmongers who are trying to use him as a weapon and also seeking an antidote or cure for his curse.At his work place due to an accident ,a small amount of his blood falls in an bottle made for some drink which gets transported to another country informing his location to the Warmongers.
Then the chase begins as usual but there is a twist in the tale which is when one of the warmongers is applied the same treatment as it was given for Hulk and he eventually turns into a Yellow Monster Abomination.In the mean while Hulk tries an antidode which works well but it only lost for a little time as he needs to turn back into Hulk to save the world from the Adomination.

I am not usually a sentimental guy and i mostly hate the films which end sadly but this is one of the movie which moved me to tears and made me watch it again and again.A walk to remember is a love story that involves two teenagers,Landon and Jamie who are from the same locality and same school.Landon who doesn't have faith in GOD or himself wastes his college life like all spoiled children and one such act causes him to do Community service with Jamie.

Even though he knew Jamie for a long time ,he always ignores her but to do the service he needs her help,thats when he comes to know about Jamie who is full of hope and faith.Jamie agrees to help him with one condition that is he should not fall in love with her.As time goes ,Landon learns more about jamie and falls in love with her and even jamie starts loving him.Jamie tries to resist and avoid him for a unknown reason even though she loves him.

Whats the reason and how the story ends is the movie.Even though the story has a sad ending ,its a superb romantic film which all teenagers must watch to understand what love is and how powerful it is.A true romantic movie which can take your hearts and wet your eyes,so watch it.

The Orientation Day

June 27 ,2008 has become one of my unforgettable days in my life,thanks to my CTS for making it such a one.I never imagined that i will get my first day @ job like this,even though it was only a orientation program that too not a compulsory one.

I reached my office at 10 a.m to find my friends waiting for me and they were registering them selves in the office and told me the formalities.It was over by a minute or two and i was given a 2008 fresher medal in purple color band.Then i came to know that the colors where for different groups.Then we went to the cafeteria and had some snacks for breakfast after which we were separated into various groups based on the colors as i mentioned earlier.

Then we had some games like Spoon & lemon and the greatest one which i enjoyed a lot was the Treasure Hunt.The main aim of the game was to know the office better and it did do the job well.
Then we had lunch and it was followed by a speech from one of our HR.One of the other best thing which happened was the teleconferencing which we had with our CEO who was in New york at that time and he spoke to us for about an half hour at the 2.30 pm in India but for him it was early morning around 4.30 am.I was really taken by his down to earth character and all this welcome party.So in short,I was really happy as my decision to join CTS wasn't a futile one and i am excited to start working there.Therefore i am eagerly awaiting for the August 11,which is my joining date.

Avatar - The Last Airbender

I have been busy watching this amazing cartoon series,Avatar - the last Air bender for almost the whole week.The animation series is good,funny and really enjoyable and I am Anime lover,so i spent the whole week in it.

The Avatar,last air bender is a story in which the world is divided into 4 kingdoms,the Air,Water,Earth and Fire.All where in peace till the Fire nation attacked them and over took the kingdoms.Only the Avatar - the master of all the 4 skills can take out the Fire Lord,but he disappeared suddenly and after about a 100 years,2 Water tribe siblings,a brother & a sister finds out the new avatar frozen in a ice glacier .The Avatar is the Aang,the last Air bender who should master all the remaining elements before he had to take the fire lord.So Aang's journey begins with the siblings Katara and sokka to travel to north pole to learn water bending and then to earth kingdom to learn earth bending.

The journey is awesome with unexpected twist and turns.Its fun too watch and interesting too,keeping one on edge of their seats at the twisted points.The season 3 is still on air ,if you want to watch ,visit this site to download all the episodes.

"You know what,I got a call from my Company and they are calling me for an Orientation Program on 27 of this month",This are the words which come out most often my month in these last few days and i keep bosting about it to my friends.I don't know why but i am kind of excited with a little bit of fear too.Starting the career life and my visit to the company for the first time ,wow its great to even think about!!!!!!!!.So waiting for it on my toes,lets see how it goes for me and please wish me luck friends !!!!!!!!.

Dasavtharam - Taking Indian Movies to the next level

The Long waited Dasavtharam were on screens last Friday and i had the opportunity to see it only this Tuesday.I actually missed some first few minutes of the film ,till the first song,so my review may not be a complete one so please bare with me.I was excited to see all the ten characters for the first time and i have not read any review as i wanted to see it on the screen without knowing any facts.The Scientist Kamalahasan who works in one of the biological research department of US government with a team finds out a deadly virus which can spread in air and kill millions of life.

As usual one of his senior members tries to sell it out to the bad people but out hero smokes it out and steals the virus from lab before it can reach the hands of the bad ones.The bad guys hire an X CIA agent who is again Kamalahasan and he chases the scientist for the Virus.The chase starts from one of scientist friends house and it finds its way to india by a misplaced packet.The X CIA agent chases him even to India and how the scientist gets rid of the virus is the main story.

During this journey,the other 7 Kamalahasen's come as some characters.One of the main Character is CBI agent who investigates the case in India.The POP singer character impresses the audience with his dance and the song.The best character was the Japanese one,the makeup was so superb such that it was difficult to identify that the character was none other than our hero.

Even the Great Moon has some black spots so is our film too,though all the ten characters where totally different ,there was not enough role for each and every character in the film,some characters lasted only for some minutes on the screen.Some of the chasing scenes seems to get a brupt stop and continue elsewhere in a different location.But too cover these everything comes the climax.The artificial created Tsunami seems to be so natural and they have added some real tsunami scenes too that was taken on the 2004 Tsunami.

In total,Dasavatharam was a great film too watch and the film which has taken Indian films too the next level in the World of Cinema's.

What a Trip !!!!!

"I am Back !!!!!!!!! " ,oops sorry don't get tensed that too mainly for thala fans.I am just a little naughty today so only was using our great thala's dialog.Anyway i am back from my native village trip and as i expected it was a great one with a variety of dishes from my various relatives filling my appetite and filling me up to my mouth.I started on 17 th early morning and traveled by the local buses,the trip was boring but my thoughts kept me busy all during the trip.It was a mixed feeling thoughts about my life and the others around me.Anyway its nothing so great to talk about ,so let me come back to my trip.

I had to shift a bus to get to the village.The village side views were so scenic too view and too my utter amusement it was the same me who once hated to go to this village was now enjoying each and every view.As I reached around the midday ,the first thing my uncle and aunt did was to make me eat,then after that my uncle took me to various other relatives house.Oops,I forgot to mention a main thing about the village,you can say that the whole village is interconnected which means almost all of them are my relatives in one way or another.So there where lots of houses too visit and in each house i had to drink some milk ,eat some snacks.There is my big uncle's house,he is the MLA of the village so one can imagine how it will be.Its a big house and too add it all ,it was so quite with only a few aunty's and my grandma around.I had to eat there due to my aunts compulsion and then again at night i had too visit some more houses.

Then i stayed at my uncle's house who had invited me around and was spending the day happily with his children's .We were chatting about all things ,even my aunt joined in the conversation.Then we saw some Tamil film and slept off.One main thing about the village is that the main job is Weaving clothes by using power and hand looms.The Looms sound was like the heart beat of the village.When there was a current failure,the whole village seemed to dead with no sounds coming out of the entire village.I had to visit some more houses the next day too and went to a film with my uncle too.Then i bid them all with a nice good bye and left them with a trip feeling in my heart which is going too last forever.Here are some snaps of the village,i visited.

Planning for my Native Trip

Today morning the phone rang as usual and i thought it must be a call for my dad.Since my dad was busy with something ,i picked it up and too my surprise the person on other end was my uncle from my native place who I met recently on the marriage festival function 2 days back.There he was calling me too visit our native village as my last visit was 6 years ago too be exact.I was not planned for anything and too get rid of the situation and not to hurt his feelings i replied him that i will come around next Monday and the next Monday is today.I never thought he would call me up home and invite me again, so the phone call was again an invitation for me too visit the native place.My Dad told him that i will be visiting them tomorrow as I had some work here.As i was bored out here due to my friends absence ,i too decided to visit them and try out their new car.So i think it will be an interesting visit and i will be back in a couple of days to share everything with you guys.

One thing that was bugging me was that i have taken some opps in social spark and i am in waiting list.I was worried that i will miss them if i had to visit my native place but it seems that the opps takes a long time for to get the slot.Hoping that i will not miss those opps ,i am leaving to my native place tommorow.

Smitha - The Indian JLO

Smitha the latest pop album has been rocking my mind & body in day and night and its just not me alone ,but almost the whole of India.Not only the pop album is named Smitha even the singer is too Smitha.She is a hot singer and i mean what i say ,the photos are the proof. Smitha is great singer from Vijayawada who started her career as a singer in 1997 and as a pop singer in 2000 with the launch of her first pop album 'Hai Rabba' a Telngu pop album.Then followed by her Kalakal album in tamil.She also sang a huge number of film songs in Telngu.Too top all this has come her new album Smitha which is in her name itself and she has done this album with the sony BGM.The song Mahe ve of the smitha album is rocking the India and i like the tamil version very much,the album has been released in three languages hindi,telngu and tamil.

The video of the song has a great similarity with the JLO's waiting for tonight song and this was one of the reasons that bought her the name Indian JLO.Hope to hear more of her songs that too esp. in Tamil.She rocks the world with her songs and let it go on.

I was away for two days to one of the indian villages to celebrate the marriage festival of my Cousin Sister.It is called Nichayathartam in which the bride and bridegroom get engaged.The bridegroom's family comes to house of the bride and talks with their family members and they fix a date and read the Marriage Invitation which is called as the kalyana Pathirkai and exchange some sort of Thambulam.I don't know what it is called in English but its a plate full of tobacco leaves and some banana & other fruits.Both the houses exchange thambulams in front of all the relatives and the marriage is officially fixed.

This is one of the important function in Hindu Marriage system.This is done differently by the different caste people.Any way it will be a grand function with all the people and relatives coming and visiting the bride and the bridegroom.It was a pleasant night and a wonderful one at my Sister's village with all the relatives getting at one spot and exchanging greetings and pleasantries.We chatted for a long while cracking jokes and teasing others jokingly.It was a great night with time flowing like a cool breeze in which you wish to stay forever but you can't.

A day @ Dad's Office.

My dad is an Superintending Engineer in our Electricity board department and his office have some computers mostly for the documentation work that needs to be carried on daily.I was bored in the home due to the holidays and absence of my friends added some more fuel to the burning boredemness,so my dad invited me to his office and i was not that much interested to spend a day in office.I told it will be boring down a lot there than in home but my Dad told that there was some problems with their systems ,you can repair them if you want.After hearing this my idea changed because i am a computer freak that too when it especially comes with some problems mainly due to virus.So at last i accompanied him to his office.

There where about 5 to 10 computers in the main office and all where used for documentation mostly.One of the main problem was that the word file when double clicked did not to open in MS Word ,instead opened in MS Excel.I cleared this problem in a second as you all know this because the open with command has been given a wrong application as Excel instead of Word.

Then there where some problem in Excel too and I couldn't solve even at the days end.The problem was that if 2 or more Excel documentation's where opened in separate Excel applications ,if one is closed all others automatically closes too.I couldn't figure whats the problem there and where to solve it.... if you know how to solve it please leave the procedure in a comment.

Then there where some amvo viruses in most of the systems,i removed them but there was one another peculiar problem which is that i could not open MSCONFIG not REGEDIT by running it the command prompt.I want to search about it in net and find out about this one.If you already know something about it,do leave a comment.

Anyway the day went great with everyone calling me around to fix that and this.They where all minor problems but due to their lack of computer knowledge,they could not fix them and the S/W professionals didn't come there as the place was some what distant from the near town.

Ben X - Movie Review

Ben X is one of the real time life story film and this is all about a boy who has some disabilities in him.I couldn't understand whats the disability till the end anyway.It was a Belgium movie and i watched with subs so it was hard to understand everything.I actually came to know about this from the you tube's most watched videos.There was so much hike about this film as this was the first film to combine gamers world with the movie.

For Ben,his world is Online Gaming where he has no disabilities and where he can choose to be who he wants to be and what he wants to be.He has reached level 80 in the game but gets bullied by all his classmates around him and he goes to the edge of frustration and what happens at the ultimatum is the story.If i revel the end ,it will not be interesting to watch,so watch for a unexpecting end.This film has got several awards but from my aspect expect the ending ant the true story part,its not a great movie for such a great hike.Anyway the story was nice and one should watch this movie and especially kids and teenagers to know what bulling could do to a young fellow

The Wisdom Tooth Problem

One of my teeth started to ache a week days ago and I thought it was some problem due to the Tooth Brush.Usually I hurt my gums with my Tooth Brush and i thought this ache is also some thing like that but it continued to ache for almost 3 days. I don't usually like dentist very much and i am one of the person who has not removed a teeth still in my family so i was trying to avoid my visit to my dentist.But due to the pressure from my parents,I planed to visit the dentist. Specially because my mom almost frightened me by saying that the problem is due to drinking cold water and one of our friends had to remove the teeth due to that.I got scared when they talked about removing the teeth so at last i went to the dentist who is a lady doctor.I was eager and also a little bit frightened to know whats the cause for the ache.She just took a look at my teeth and asked where the pain is,i told it was beyond the last teeth.she nodded as if she understood the problem immediately and told me not to worry as the ache is only due to the growth of the new wisdom teeth.I thanked God as it was only a little thing but i was wrong then came the big shock for me.

She then looked under some bright light with some spoon like tools and said that " The wisdom teeth on the right side is not growing straight and i think you may need to remove it because it may cause trouble in future,lets see after a week or so about it".she gave some medicines for the ache and told me that this will continue till the teeth comes out of the gums completely.I was worried about it and so i came and searched the net for some info reg the Wisdom tooth and found that 9 out of 10 peoples wisdom tooth grows in wrong direction and need to be removed at the young age itself or else it will be most difficult to remove it later due to its direction.For more details see this link.

Its been about 3 days now after my visit to the dentist and my medications have gotten over too and my tooth is still aching around.I think i need to remove my teeth ,waiting for a week to know about it fully.I hope at least that there will be no problem in removing the teeth at this stage itself.Lets me find it out and tell you in a week.

Road Trip to Indian Village Temple

I hoped in my dad's car besides my sister who was already seated in the car and as my parents also boarded in, we were ready to start our road trip to a Indian Village Temple.The Temple was located in a place called Melmalayanur which 32 kms from Gingee,Tamil Nadu.It was a temple of the Goddess Angala Parameshwari Amman, a Hindu Goddess.

I was not so excited about the trip as most of these temples will be mostly abandoned with only few villagers who worship in that temple.The whole journey was about 3 hours drive from our house in Vellore.As the city limits began wade off,my eyes feasted on the greenish,lush lands of the Villages on the way.It was fantastic view to feast upon and the roads where all deserted with only a few people walking by.The place was so calm with a warm breeze flowing over my cheeks.

We stopped in the middle to eat Nungu,a fruit thats available in India and i took the chance to capture the beauty of the villages in that time and here is it for you all to feast upon.

I was taken by surprise when I entered the main village where the temple is located.Till the last minute before taking the road for the main villager, it was hard to see a group of people standing in the road but now the village was flowing full of people from all over the neighboring villages,I don't know from where or how did they come to the place.I then came to know that the temple has a special pooja on No moon day and it will be full of rush like this on all such days.The main specialty is that they bring the Goddess statue at midnight 12.00 exactly on this day and swing her in a Unjal in one of the buildings .The people come to see this event and they start to sit around that building from 6 pm.Its said that those who view this event gets what they want and thing s happen to them as they desire for those who believe it.

Anyway the crowd was pouring in like the Thirupathi temple here.The main Goddess was in a little cave where only a small group of 4 to 5 people can stand.We were taken directly there by some of the contacts my dad had in there.The priests where pushing the people like anythin and they where not even allowed to enter the cave.To enter the cave there is some special fee of about 100 or above.We were all drenched with sweet when we came back outside.Here is the footage of the Goddess in that temple,this was taken from a Government site as people are not allowed to take picture of the deity in the Hindu temples.

we did not wait for the main event at midnight as my dad had some important work.So we came back to home.Anyway it was a nice journey and also an exciting one for me.Hope to got there once again to see the main unjal event.

Earthquake at vellore

I was reading today's newspaper and was taken aback when i read the news that there was a earthquake at my place - Vellore,Tamil Nadu.The earthquake was a mild one and seems to have lasted only for some seconds and it occurred at 11.30 pm on 7/6/08 i.e yesterday midnight.since it was a mild one there was no damage to the buildings nor to the people.As i was sleeping yesterday at that time due to the medicine i had taken for cold ,i didn't notice the earth quake nor did my family.we were all suprised to see the news in the Local newspaper.It is said that Vellore is not pron for earth quake due to its location.Anyway thanks to God as it was only a mild one and also for saving all lives in my locality.

I saw this movie by a accident in my hostel.I was curious by the name If only and i thought it might be some action or thriller but i was wrong.Even tough i was wrong i enjoyed the film a lot and too add it up all i was moved to tears at the end of the film.Its a romantic story between a unmarried couples Jennifer Love Hewitt plays the Samantha's role who is staying with her boyfriend Ian which is played by Paul Nicholls .The film is a one day story .The days pass along with lot of misunderstandings between the couples and a fight occurs between the couples at the end of the day and the girl dies in a car accident at the midnight of the same day.But all this occurs in a dream for Ian or He has a chance to live that day again,something like that.All the dream days events occur again in real world and how Ian finds out and how he saves Samantha's life is the ending of the story.

A fantastic romantic story ,the lines Ian says in the climax are superb and the way he express his love to her superb.Don't miss this but the story has a sad ending.A superb movie for all lovers and especially teenagers who are falling in love.

The two songs in the film are totally awesome songs.The song My love will show you everything is superb.Don't miss it .

Freedom Writers is one of the movie which moved me and made me wonder whether there are persons like this too in real world.In the movie,a young Teacher by name Erin Gruwell joins in the Woodrow Wilson High in Long Beach, a voluntarily integrated school who has a great passion for teaching and also believes that persons can be changed in the school.All are dreams get shattered when she is challenged by a group of Black, Latino, and Asian gangbangers the inner city kids raised on drive-by shootings and hard-core attitude.They hate her even more than each other.

All this changes when she hears to problem of those city kids like no other adults and she comes to understand that for these kids, getting through the day alive is enough-hey are not delinquents but teenagers fighting a war of the streets that began long before they were born.She doesn't end up with that.she tries to help all the students as much as possible which even cost her married life.she works part time to raise money to give the students good books according to their needs.The students getz attached to her and they want her for thier high school too and how she struggles to get that position is the movie.

I was moved when i heard this was a real story and all those kids did become graduates and some where the first among their families.The Freedom writers is the book published by them and here is their website and community.check it out and don't forget to watch the movie.A superb movie and i want a Teacher like her and for teachers try to be like her .

"Moto W270 - the best cell for the college students" thats my comment about the Cell in a line.If you are looking for an cell phone without camera and with Mp3 playback,you have only the Moto270.This latest cellphone from Motorola comes in 2 models the W230 and W270.The W230 is model is a slim single phone model but where as the w270 is a Flip type model.w230 doesn't look that impressive with the small keypad and small display.

The w270 which is black in color is looking good and has a large keypad and even a front panel display which is seemed to be taken from its previous model.Both the models have an 2 GB extensible memory card holder capacity.It also has the Mp3 playback feature.Mp3 player can also be minimized while working or messaging in cell phone.The music quality is very good but the volume is only little bit high and not as big as in sony walk man's.It has a inbuilt browser and GPRS connectivity.The phone comes with a 256 MB memory card ,a USB cable,a Power cable and an Headphone.The phone can be charged even via the USB cable.To connect the phone as a storage device ,you have to just plug the phone and select yes when asked a question as to connect the phone as storage device in the cell phone.To charge via the USB,one need to install the software from Motorola web site and its not coming with the Phone package.

Till now this phone seems to be good and worthy of buying,is it not ?, don't hurry up i have not even started its demerits ,after reading this decide whether to buy it or not.To start with the most hated feature i have seen in this phone is that the Display is small even when the whole flip is large and empty.The phone doesn't have a blue tooth or infrared options i n it.It doesn't have a camera,this can be both advantage as well as an disadvantage.The Sound volume is not so high.The Minimization of the Mp3 player is not so effective as all the works can't be done like playing a game or so.While playing the game the music stops automatically even if you switched off the game music.Due to the small screen ,the wallpapers don't actually fit in very nicely.The wallpaper resolution must be small in the form of 360 * 680 and the size should also be lower than a MB.

All this drawbacks seems to vanish when one looks at the cost of the cellphone.I bought this cell phone at 3500 ,now it should have gotten a bit low to around 3000.A phone with all this capabilities at this low prize,i think no one will won't to miss it.So in total i stick on to my saying

As the holidays started to roll on,as was my search for some PC games.I went to my local PC Games shop and i got this new game by name Loki The Heroes of Mythology.It was a Role Playing Game and it was about mythology.

The Loki game allows you to choose one of the 4 Characters available ,Norse warrior, a fierce Greek fighter, a powerful Egyptian sorcerer or a skilled Aztec shaman.You can choose any one of them as your heroes.I like the Norse Warrior so i took him.You can customize your hero,select your own weapons from the available set.I liked the Razor blade very much till now.Hoping to see some more weapons like the Thor's hammer.He is holding it in the wallpaper.Your job is too help the GOD's in their tasks.you are going to slay some of the Mythological Creatures like Fenrir the wolf, Fafnir the dragon, the cruel and twisted Minotaur, the stony stare of Medusa.
I am now at the Fenir the Wolf level.

It was nice to customize even the weapons and skill sets.Add your own attributes.You have 2 level upgrades in it.One is your hero level and the other is your God's Faith.Your Hero level increases with the experience you gain and God's Faith increases with the Prayer and offerings.you can offer the extra weapons you have to God.

The game requirements where not too big like some of the games and i didn't want them as i have only a 128 MB graphics card in my system.I liked the game and i have been playing it for a week now and i have just now met the first big boss in the game.But the game rating in the net is not that much,so i am expecting nothing big,just want to spend the time.

The Worst Customer Service anyone could Experience

Hi friends, this post is all about the data one broadband connection.My sincere and best advice is don't ever get data one connection and don't even think of it even in your dreams.One cann't see a worst customer service like that of a data one and even the top most person doesn't even have a little bit of knowledge about the connections and all you get is an irresponsible answer from them even if you go and ask them in person.

It was a week ago,my modem didn't start working and this was the starting of my worst experience with a customer care,i have ever known off.I logged a complaint about the modem on the same day and it took me half day to find the correct phone number to book the complaint.The complaint was a total failure as i didn't get a single call or response from them even after 2 days.

I decided to go to the exchange directly and ask the JTO.He is one of the higher most officer ,i think third or fourth in rank.He is the person in charge of the broad bands in my locality.I complained about the modem and he coolly told me to bring the modem there instead of sending a technician to my house.

I didn't worry about this as my house was near to the exchange so i took the modem to him the next day .They checked the modem and told that they will give a new one the next day.When i arrived home the same day,i got a call inquiring about the complaint i logged 5 days back and for which i had to visit the exchange almost 4 times now.

The next day i went back to get the new modem,the modem worked perfectly.I thought the problem was over but it wasn't so.It had just started.The modems have an inbuilt password for the data one account usage which is need when one uses a extra router and it is also need for checking the account usage.

I connected the modem to my router and it didn't work.I found out that the password was changed so i called them back and inquired about the password.They never replied for it but they kept me rolling from one center to another.I had to call 5 number that day and still have to end the day without even a single reply from the bsnl officers.

The next day i contacted this same JTO and asked about the password.He gave me another number and told me to inquire there.They told me a password but it didn't work.I got tired of it and went straight to him and told him that old password is not working nor the one you gave.He gave another number and told to ask them.i did that too but didn't get a reply.

I went to him the next day and asked him.This JTO said that if you cannot login with the password its not our problem ,it your problem call some technician and check your system.I was taken aback by this irresponsible reply from an JTO.Then I told my father to call the DJM the top most official in bsnl to ask him what to do.

The complaint to topmost official had the effect immediately,they reset the password and my modem started working properly,but it took me almost 2 weeks to get this thing to work.So please don't ever goto data one .The worst customer service can only be experienced here at data one .

Enable ClearType, Microsoft's trademark font display technology, for a drastic improvement in screen font rendering. Right-click anywhere on your desktop. Now select Properties. The Hidden Files Problem

I experienced a peculiar problem this weekend.Actually it all started with the amvo virus in one of my friends computer.I removed the virus for him.The next day,he told me that he cann't see the hidden files even after removing the virus.Then i noticed that the procedure only removes the virus and doesn't turns back the damage it has done.So i had to revert it back manually.This happens not only with this virus but many others too.

The virus changes the registry setting of the hidden files in windows registry so even if u change the option to show Hidden files in the folder options ,you cannot see the hidden files in your system.This is done to protect the virus files which are hidden too.So you need to correct the registry setting to see the hidden files.To do that follow these steps

Run Registry Editor by typing regedit in run
In the Registry travase to this path

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Then double click the value Hidden in the right hand side pan
A dialog box pops up asking for the datavalue.The virus would have changed the value to 0 which should be

1 - Show hidden

2 - Don't show

Once you have done this,you can even remove the virus files just by deleting the hidden virus files in explorer itself.

When I opened my wallpapers folder today,all my file names where missing in it.First i thought it was an virus and was going for a reformat but i noticed that the filenames where missing only in that folder and other ones where fine.

Then i came to know that it was nothing more than a windows trick.If one presses shift and enters a folder,the filename settings changes in the folder i.e the filenames disappear and it is reverted back by just doing the same.Check these snap shots out..

The world's tallest snowman or actually a snowwoman was made in Bethel, Maine. The 122 ft snowman with eyelashes made from skis and painted red tires for her lips and trees for arms has been named after the state's senior Senator Olympia Snowe. It's worth mentioning that the previous record of the world's tallest snowman was also set by Bethel 9 years ago. I personally have no idea what they used for the carrot and where they got that giant hat but it doesn't really matter. The snowman..woman looks great.

On 26 March last year as a few half-hearted flurries of snow danced across the unlovely suburban landscape of northern New Jersey,David Smith drew the curtains of the small garden apartment he shared with two cats called Rockabilly and Eggnog. It was late on a Friday afternoon. Soon the nation's offices and factories, its government departments and much of its civil infrastructure would be closing for the weekend. The timing was critical for Smith's purposes.

At 30, single and employed on an irregular basis as a computer programmer, Smith met most definitions of a nobody. Admittedly, he dressed smartly and kept in shape, but his outward personability was more than negated by what one of his friends called 'the personality of bread mould'. His love life, as far as anyone knew had been fairly unremarkable. There was only one girl, somewhere in the past - a willowy blonde whom he seemed to have genuinely fallen for. Her name was Melissa.

Smith settled down in front of a personal computer. It was one of several that he owned. Later, when things became hot, he would have to smash it up with a garden spade, and throw the pieces into a rubbish skip. But this afternoon, as the big East Coast cities of New York, Boston and Washington began to empty, his fingers moved smoothly over the keyboard.

He entered cyber-space using a stolen access authorisation that had been issued by America Online, the giant internet provider, to a customer in Florida called Scott Steinmetz. This allowed Smith to use Steinmetz's e-mail address, slrvrocket@aol.com, which he proceeded to do, to devastating effect.

A few clicks of the mouse took Smith to an internet chatroom - an electronic forum where subscribers can exchange messages on a topic of mutual interest. The chat-room he chose was called alt.sex, one of many sites devoted to the appreciation of pornography. There, Smith posted the deadliest computer virus the world has ever known.

It couldn't have been more than a few minutes before someone, somewhere out in the vastness of the internet, visited alt.sex, saw Smith's message - which purported to contain free access codes to other internet porn sites and opened it. And with that single click, the virus was free to fulfill its purpose - to spread, multiply and contaminate.

Later, investigators would decipher its name from the computer code that Smith had written. He had called the virus Melissa.Except that the chaos that followed would far exceed Smith's wildest imaginings. Within 24 hours, the computer systems of some of the biggest corporations on earth would be paralysed; Nato and the Pentagon would move on to a heightened security alert in the belief that cyber-terrorists were launching a global attack; and millions of computer users around the world would wake up to find their machines had been 'Melissa'd'. And in the days that followed, the biggest, most desperate manhunt in the history of computer crime would lead investigators, step by step, through a strange, barely charted electronic universe to the faded grey front door of David Smith's home in New Jersey.

Early next month Smith, who admits planting the virus, will be sentenced at the New Jersey Superior Court on charges of interfering with public communications. He faces up to 45 years in jail, and could, in theory, be fined $900 million - a sum approximately twice the value of the damage he is estimated to have caused. His case has been followed obsessively by internet aficionados, and studied by almost everyone with an interest in the security of computer systems. Yet a year after Smith's assault, the big questions remain unanswered: who is he? Why did he do it? And where is Melissa?

How it works

The Melissa macro virus propagates in the form of an email message containing an infected Word document as an attachment. The transport message has most frequently been reported to contain the following Subject header

Subject: Important Message From

Where is the full name of the user sending the message.

The body of the message is a multipart MIME message containing two sections. The first section of the message (Content-Type: text/plain) contains the following text.

Here is that document you asked for ... don't show anyone else ;-)

The next section (Content-Type: application/msword) was initially reported to be a document called "list.doc". This document contains references to pornographic web sites. As this macro virus spreads we are likely to see documents with other names. In fact, under certain conditions the virus may generate attachments with documents created by the victim.

When a user opens an infected .doc file with Microsoft Word97 or Word2000, the macro virus is immediately executed if macros are enabled.

Upon execution, the virus first lowers the macro security settings to permit all macros to run when documents are opened in the future. Therefore, the user will not be notified when the virus is executed in the future.

The macro then checks to see if the registry key

"HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Office\Melissa?"

has a value of "... by Kwyjibo". If that registry key does not exist or does not have a value of "... by Kwyjibo", the virus proceeds to propagate itself by sending an email message in the format described above to the first 50 entries in every Microsoft Outlook MAPI address book readable by the user executing the macro. Keep in mind that if any of these email addresses are mailing lists, the message will be delivered to everyone on the mailing lists. In order to successfully propagate, the affected machine must have Microsoft Outlook installed; however, Outlook does not need to be the mailer used to read the message.

This virus can not send mail on systems running MacOS; however, the virus can be stored on MacOS.

Next, the macro virus sets the value of the registry key to "... by Kwyjibo". Setting this registry key causes the virus to only propagate once per session. If the registry key does not persist through sessions, the virus will propagate as described above once per every session when a user opens an infected document. If the registry key persists through sessions, the virus will no longer attempt to propagate even if the affected user opens an infected document.

The macro then infects the Normal.dot template file. By default, all Word documents utilize the Normal.dot template; thus, any newly created Word document will be infected. Because unpatched versions of Word97 may trust macros in templates the virus may execute without warning.

Finally, if the minute of the hour matches the day of the month at this point, the macro inserts into the current document the message "Twenty-two points, plus triple-word-score, plus fifty points for using all my letters. Game's over. I'm outta here."

Note that if you open an infected document with macros disabled and look at the list of macros in this document, neither Word97 nor Word2000 list the macro. The code is actually VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code associated with the "document.open" method. You can see the code by going into the Visual Basic editor

Impact

Users who open an infected document in Word97 or Word2000 with macros enabled will infect the Normal.dot template causing any documents referencing this template to be infected with this macro virus. If the infected document is opened by another user, the document, including the macro virus, will propagate. Note that this could cause the user's document to be propagated instead of the original document, and thereby leak sensitive information.

Indirectly, this virus could cause a denial of service on mail servers. Many large sites have reported performance problems with their mail servers as a result of the propagation of this virus.

New Folder.exe Virus ,this one has affected my computer a thousand times may be and my friends too.It easily transfers from one system via the other by pen drivers usually. I was reinstalling my windows today and after that i was installing my other system softwares needed.I usually have 2 or more browsers in my system and i was thinking which was the best among them.So i started surfing the net for my answer and here is it for you all to take a look and comment on my decision.

Internet Explorer

lets start with our most common browser ,the IE.As the IE comes as a part of the Windows its the most popular one and most used one but when it comes to performance and quality ,it goes down like a waterfall.As the IE have less security and are more prone to attacks.It is also not so fast and more featured like the tabs in the other browsers.But all this changed after the launch of the IE 7.0 with Windows Vista.Now it as the all features like the other top browsers but still it seems to be slow than Mozilla's Firefox 2.0

Mozilla Firefox

My favorite browser,Mozilla Firefox.Smart,Faster,Flexible thats what i will say when one asks me about firefox.This open source Browser got popular after its new version release at 2006.There after Firefox has not fallen short off its expectation.With its new add ons called the extensions it has incorporated lot of features.I mostly use firefox has my primary and default browser.It helps a lot in my broadband connection at home by blocking lot of the pop ups and saving my download limit too a large extent.It also prevents lot of spy wares from entering the system.

Opera

Opera is one of the best browser ,it has a lot of features but most of them is not used mostly.It is fast and has almost equivalent to Mozilla Firefox.I don't know the difference exactly but firefox seems to be light weighted than Firefox.I use it for browsing through my proxy server in hostel.It's easy to clear history and the feature i like most is that ,we can open the browser in the web pages we closed at the last time. We can also disable this option.opera was originally not a free ware but after 9.0 release its made free and its catching up with other browsers fast.

Thus all the browsers are almost of same level at this stage as never before.so whats the best browser ?????? the answer is I don't know,may be all are best.

Reinstalling Grub

Many of you have experienced the problem of reinstalling windows when we have a linux os also in our system.After reinstallation ,the grub boot loader of the linux os will be gone so we will not be able to enter linux.

I had this problem too and i tried surfing the net and asking some people how to overcome this,almost all of them told that we cannot reinstall windows without affecting the Grub and so the only way to get back the Grub is too reinstall the Grub.

I was confused whey they said to reinstall the Grub,i asked them do you mean to reinstall the linux os itself.They said no,thats what most people do but it's not needed.Reinstalling Grub is totally a easier job and will take only up to some 5 or 10 minutes.

So this is how the reinstallation process takes place,

First Reinstall your Windows Operating System.Now the Grub Boot loader will be gone from your system and your system boots directly to windows.

Now load your Linux live cd or installation cd and boot up

Once you have entered your terminal,type the following command to enter into grub mode

grub

then type if you know where your windows is located

root (hd0,1)

or else do this

find /boot/grub/stage1

and then the root command with the correct parameters:

setup (hd0)

to install it on hd0, that is MBR of the first HD.

Now restart the system and grub will be loaded.

Uninstalling Linux on a Dual Boot System

Most of the people don't use the Linux Operating system as a single Os for the system,mostly we use with common Windows OS.The problem arises when we try to remove the Linux from the system.First of all we cannot uninstall Linux like any softwares in windows and how ever we remove it,it affects the Master Boot Record of our hard disk,thus making the hard disk unbootable as we are removing the GRUB with has over written the Windows MBR at the time of Linux installation.

To remove linux,first you need to have your Windows Xp Installation Cd or Windows ME/98 Installation Cd.If u have any one of those cds you can proceed on uninstalling linux from your hard disk.

Removing Linux from your hard disk is not complex process as it sounds.First delete your linux partition and format with need FAT table from windows using any partition software tool like partition magic,DM etc.. or use the Disk management option available in the Computer Management option of Windows Xp/Vista.To go to Computer management ,right click the My Computer and select manage.

Now restart the computer and boot your system with one of the Windows installation Cd.if you use Windows 98/ME,in the command prompt enter this command from c:\

fdisk /mbr

if you use Windows Xp installation Cd,run the recovery console,select the windows and in the console type this command

fixmbr

and answer yes /y for the confirmation pop up dialog box Now restart your system and your MBR will be fixed and your system will boot directly to windows.

Hi guys,its been a long time i thought about using Linux operating system as i was busy with the windows os with my project and now as my project is getting ready to completion ,i was thinking of getting back to Linux and learn some thing new in it and i thought of the problems i faced while using the Linux os a while ago and i thought i may share with all of you. I usually use Fedora core ,i don't know why but i like it .so here goes the story

Installing Linux

The First and foremost problem was installing the Linux in a new partition in my system.I started installing the Fedora core from the cd's i downloaded from the internet,it was going on fine till the step came for selecting the partition for installing Linux,as i was new to it,i didn't know what to do and selected automatic selection.

The Setup asked me to whether to use the free space in the hard disk or use a window partion and or use a old linux partition.I didn't have the last 2 options in my hand and so i thought of trying the first one and the setup showed the free space in all the existing partitions but i had data in it so i could not even use them .so i stopped the installation

What actually went wrong in the installation was that i should have created empty partition first in the windows itself or should have known to use the manual partition setup

Easy Installation of Linux

Follow these steps for easy installation

Boot your system in windows
Select an existing partition which you can wipe out and move the needed data's to other partition
The size of the partition should be at least 5 GB,i recommend 10 GB for good usage
Use a partition software like Partition Magic and delete the partition and restart
After restarting ,the partition should be gone form the system
Now boot your system from the Linux CD and go through the installation process
At the stage of selecting the partition ,use automatic and select the option of using existing free space
Now the setup will take free space we have created by deleting the partition
Go through the rest of the setup and install Linux.

Manual Installation

Manual installation differs slightly for different versions of linux,mostly all the linux needs 3 partitions namely

Boot Partition with a minimum of 100 MB size
Swap Partition with a minimum of 128 MB size
Root Partition with a minimum of 4 GB size

There will be a partition software in the setup,use the new ,edit and delete to create these partitions and it looks like this

Delete any existing partition which is not needed and create these new partitions and select the partition type as ext3 which is the Linux partition type for boot and root partition's and swap partition if of swap partition type itself.

For the mount point type you need to select /boot for boot partition and / for root partition and for swap you don't have mount point itself. After creating all these partitions ,you can also create a extra partition if you want like the D and E partitions in Windows os.just create a new partition and select any mount point other than / , /boot.

The newer versions of the Linux now don't need the boot partition but need the remaining 2 partitions.

The Golden temple of Amritsar

The Golden temple of Amritsar belongs to the Sikh religion of the Punjab's.It's history goes to 1577 AD of the fourth Guru of Sikhism, Guru Ram Das, excavated a tank which subsequently became known as Amritsar which means Pool of the Nectar of Immortality , giving its name to the city that grew around it. In due course, a splendid Sikh edifice, Harmandir Sahib which means The Abode of God , rose in the middle of this tank and became the supreme center of Sikh's.

The Golden temple of Vellore

The Golden temple in Vellore was built just a year ago, to be exactly accurate it was opened for public on August 24,2007 and its getting popular day by day. The temple is built for the Goddess Mahalakshmi.The Rs 600-crore gold temple is located on 55,000 sq ft of land on a 100-acre salubrious stretch in Malaikodi, about 6 km from Vellore in north Tamil Nadu.

The temple is built almost similar to the Golden temple in Amritsar,the temple is in middle of a pond and there is a star pathway with inscriptions from Gita and various other holy scripts written all over it.Even the pillar are built with gold making the temple richest of all in whole continent of Asia.

I think most of the people like this game just for its sound but its really a good one,so here are the rules for the games,this game should be played with a single deck and with jokers removed from the deck.

Aim

To get rid of all the cards in hand

Rules

Distribute the deck of cards evenly among the players.
The one who gets Ace spade has to start first.
He can put down any card he wants first,the other players if they have a card in that design has to put down ,if he doesn't have a card in that design ,he can put the largest card which he has in the other design,this is called as giving a cut.
If some one gives a cut all those cards goes to person who dropped the card of the highest point in the design which was started.
The one who still has the cards at the last is the ass and for the next game he gets the Ace spade In this game ,the cards have their points according to their number expect the Ace which is the highest followed by the King ,Queen ,Jack & rest of the cards in descending order.

Well this might be funny but its true ,me and my friends are spending our college days with just a pack of cards in my hostel room.It all started when we were bored of the Business game(that's another story) we usually play after cutting the class or just giving the attendance & returning back to hostel,one of my friend bought is card pack just for fun and we started playing with just 3 players and in a day all my class where in it and we were spending the whole day in it,playing a variety of games using cards and here is some info about those games for you...

Five Cards

In this game,each player is given five cards and a card is taken from the remaining deck and kept as a joker which means it has zero points ,whatever the card may be and there will be a opening card for the first player to start with

The main aim of the game is to get the lowest points,by dropping the cards,the cards have the points according to their number expect for the jack,queen and king which have 10 points and Ace as point of 1

The game goes like this ,you should put a card down(the highest one ) and take one from the deck or the one put by the previous one.One important factor is that if you have 2 or more cards with the same number you can drop them all down in a single drop.

Then after you reduce the points to lowest and if you feel you have lowest points after adding up all the cards,you should bid ,if your bid goes wrong say that if any one has less than you or has a point equal to yours,you get a highest point of 50 ,while the others who are lower and equal to get a zero and the others get the points what they have in their cards

Now keep a threshold say a 300 points ,then start playing ,if anyone crosses beyond it,he is out of the game and the game continues with other players .The last one standing after the rest of them are out of the game is the winner.

Try it out with atleast 6 players,it will be fun & about the remaining games in my next blog till then keep playing ....

Its a client like software that runs on your system and connects to some proxy sites that run some where in the world through the existing internet connection,we just have to direct our browser to the local host instead of the original proxy setting and now we can use internet as if a firewall doesn't exist ,the only disadvantage in this is the download is done limited bytes and connection exists only for 1 hour and one has to reconnect it after 60 minutes so downloading large files cann't be done .

Warcraft

Warcraft is a stratergy game which i came to know about by my friend in the hostel and what i didn't know at that time was that i will become addicted to this game in future.I have been playing this game for almost 4 years and i am still not bored on playing this ,that to especially in my collage LAN with my friends.

Here is some info about this wonderful game which i have been playing all these years.

There are basically four Races in this game,the Humans,the Orcs,the Undead and the Night Elves.In the starting the Humans and the Orcs as usual fight against themselves,then the Undead raises from the hell and they call the demon,the night elves who are guardians of the nature ,join hands with the humans and the orcs and defeat the demon from destroying the tree of life.

The way in which the campaign takes us through this story is really amazing and we have 4 heroes in each race and we also have a little of role playing attached to this game in the campaigns

A little intro about the races....

Relatively speaking, Humanity is one of the youngest races of the world. Unlike Elves and Dwarves, Humans live brief lives full of change and strife. Thus, Humanity pushes itself to achieve great heights in empire-building, technology, and magical study. It is for this reason that Human kingdoms have expanded so drastically in such short periods of time. Overall, Humanity values virtue and honor and seeks only to safeguard itself against the forces of darkness. Aided by the Holy Light, Humanity has fought the hardest and suffered the most during the war against the Orcish Hordes.

The savage, green-skinned Orcs are one of the most prolific races of the Warcraft world. Born on the hellish world of Draenor, the Orcs were brought into the kingdom of Azeroth through the dimensional gateway known as the Dark Portal and forced to make war upon the Humans. The Orcs are typically believed to be brutal and mindless, possessing no humanity or empathy for other races. Although few are aware of it, the Orcs once cultivated a noble, Shamanistic society on the world of Draenor. Yet the proud Orc clans were corrupted by the Burning Legion and used as pawns in the Legion's invasion of Azeroth. In recent years the Orcs have begun to release themselves from the Demons' corruption, and rekindle their ancient, noble traditions.

The reclusive Night Elves were the first race to awaken in the World of Warcraft. These shadowy, immortal beings were the first to study magic and let it loose throughout the world nearly ten thousand years before Warcraft I. The Night Elves' reckless use of magic drew the Burning Legion into the world and led to a catastrophic war between the two titanic races. The Night Elves barely managed to banish the Legion from the world, but their wondrous homeland was shattered and drowned by the sea. Ever since, the Night Elves refused to use magic for fear that the dreaded Legion would return. The Night Elves closed themselves off from the rest of the world and remained hidden atop their holy mountain of Hyjal for many thousands of years. As a race, Night Elves are typically honorable and just, but they are very distrusting of the 'lesser races' of the world. They are nocturnal by nature and their shadowy powers often elicit the same distrust that they have for their mortal neighbors.

The horrifying Undead army called the Scourge consists of thousands of walking corpses, disembodied spirits, damned mortal men and insidious extra-dimensional entities. The Scourge was created by the Burning Legion for the sole purpose of sewing terror across the world in anticipation of the Legion's inevitable invasion. The Undead are ruled by Ner'zhul, the Lich King, who lords over the icy realm of Northrend from his frozen throne. Ner'zhul commands the terrible plague of undeath which he sends ever southward into the human lands. As the plague encroaches on the southlands, more and more humans fall prey to Ner'zhul's mental control and life-draining sickness every day. In this way, Ner'zhul has swelled the ranks of the already considerable Scourge. Though Ner'zhul and his Undead Scourge are bound to the will of the Burning Legion, the Lich King constantly strives to free himself and gain vengeance upon the demons for damning him so completely.

Smoking the Harddisk

What are you guys looking at ????????????? ,the weird tittle !!! Sure,the tittle is weird as my experience at least too me.First of all i have two systems ,one in my college hostel and one in my home and i always used to carry my hostel hard disk when ever i go home for a long vacation as i have most of the contents and data's in it .I connect my hostel hard disk as a slave in my home system and i use it regularly like this.

This incident happened last month,it was a one week holiday trip for me.As usual i packed my hard disk with my other stuffs and traveled home.In my home after a day i started connecting my hostel hard disk as a slave to my home system.To my utter disbelief ,the computer didn't recognize even a single hard disk.

i thought i had given the wrong master/slave jumper settings as this usually happens a lot due to that and so i looked at the disks for this problem .But i have already given the right jumper settings in it.The next thought was that the cables may be loose or not properly connected so i reconnected them once again and i restarted the system.Nothing happened and i tried again for the third time with some little reconnections to make sure that the buses are connected tightly and correctly.

As i was looking at the monitor for some sort of sign,i got a sign from my open CPU cabinet ,that too specially from my hostel hard disk.Curious about the sign,it was the worst thing that happened to me,man.smokes where the signs !!!!!!!!!

Smokes where coming out of my hard disk ,i was stunned for sometime and then i came back to reality and i turned off my system.Then i removed my hostel hard drive and booted the system too see whether the problem was with the system's power cable or my hard disk and i got the answer back as my hard disk.

I took my hard disk to one of the local computer hardware shop to know what happened and more than that too get some of the data's back.The person said that my hard disk's main board got burned out and i need to change the board for even trying to retrieve my data's.I asked what had created this problem and i was totally taken back by the answer.

Removing Amvo.exe Virus

Hi friends,One week ago my system started acting funny ,the hidden files where always hidden even if we change the file settings in it & the hard disk partition's didn't open up correctly and i was not even able to explore them by right clicking on it.The only way it can be accessed was using direct explore from my computer or some other tools.I checked my all ongoing process on that time and found a process called as amvo.exe

I tried to get it out but wasn't able to by just removing it from msconfig startup,then i searched the net and found out the way to remove it & here it is

Go to command prompt by running cmd in run
Go to c:\Windows\System32 folder

Delete the amvo.exe file in it by using

del /f/ah amvo.exe

check if there are anyother dll by the same name like amvo0.dll or amvo1.dll
u will not be able to remove those files now,don't worry about that.Now remove the amvo.exe from startup and restart your system.

After Restarting your system goto command prompt and delelte those dll files in the system32 folder by using the same command

del /f/ah amvo0.dll
del /f/ah amvo1.dll

these files ll be present only sometimes

then goto back to c:\ in command prompt and remove the autorun.inf file by using the same command

del /f/ah autorun.inf

do this for all the partitionson your system.
Don't open anyone now,restart the system then access them .

If u wanna check whether they are gone,use dir in command prompt for hidden files to view it

dir /ah

Removing if there any other dll files created by it in c:\
The virus ll be gone forever.

Its totally owned by the citigroup and its main office in india is in Mumbai and they have recently opened up in chennai guys.Its only a small firm just started but has a lot of opportunities in it,thats the reason why i took it.

It was a great pleasure to have it in hand my first offer letter,the feeling was great guys...
